Announcement Regarding Travels To Turkey
The Turkish Ministry of Interior has declared that restrictions on the entry/exit of Turkish citizens and foreign nationals to Turkey by air, land and sea are removed as of June 11, 2020.
All Turkish citizens and foreign nationals traveling to Turkey will be subject to health checks at the point of entry. PCR tests will be applied free of charge on travellers who show any symptoms and/or considered necessary by relevant authorities.
All necessary procedures regarding health checks will be conducted by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
Before traveling to Turkey, we kindly urge you to read the attached “NOTAM for Turkish aerodromes”.
STARTING FROM 11 JUNE 2020, 20:59 UTC HOURS, ALL FLIGHTS, REGARDLESS OF THE SEAT CONFIGURATION, WILL BE ALLOWED FROM / TO ANY TURKISH AERODROMES UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
-ALL PASSENGERS HAVE TO WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES AT THE AIRPORTS AND ON BOARD.
-DURING THE FLIGHTS, ALL ARRIVING PASSENGERS WILL BE ASKED TO FILL OUT THE PASSENGER LOCATOR FORMS.
-ALL ARRIVING PASSENGERS WILL BE EXAMINED AND WILL BE TESTED IF THEY HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS. PASSENGERS SHALL BE INFORMED BY THE OPERATORS BEFOREHAND AND DURING FLIGHT.
-PASSENGERS TESTED POSITIVE WILL NOT BE DEPORTED, BUT WILL BE TREATED.
-COUNTRIES TO WHICH FLIGHT PERMISSIONS WILL BE GRANTED WILL BE COORDINATED WITH THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH.
-OPERATORS SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS PUBLISHED BY THE TURKISH DGCA ON AIRPORT AND AIRLINE PANDEMIC GUIDELINES FOR ALL FLIGHTS.
